Lead Teacher
Explorers Academy is seeking lead teachers who demonstrate Christlike characteristics; provide structure in a classroom setting; build positive relationships with children and fellow staff members; communicate professionally with parents; prepare and teach developmentally appropriate lesson plans, activities, and schedules; provide a safe, clean, organized, and educationally stimulating environment; implement and practice Conscious Discipline principles; and have awareness of emotional, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs in children. Lead teachers need to be at least 21 years of age or older.
Center Assistant
Explorers Academy is seeking center assistants who demonstrate Christlike characteristics; provide structure in a classroom setting; build positive relationships with children and fellow staff members; communicate professionally with parents; prepare and teach developmentally appropriate lesson plans, activities, and schedules; provide a safe, clean, organized, and educationally stimulating environment; implement and practice Conscious Discipline principles; and have awareness of emotional, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs in children. Center assistants need to be at least 18 years of age or older.
Assistant Teacher
Explorers Academy is looking for assistant teachers who are willing to demonstrate Christlike characteristics; keep children safe; assist the lead teacher with lesson plans and preparation; help maintain a clean and tidy classroom; utilize Conscious Discipline practices; communicate politely and effectively with fellow staff, parents, and children; and guide children in a positive way. Assistant teachers need to be at least 21 years of age or older.
Kitchen Attendant
Explorers Academy desires a kitchen attendant who will display Christlike characteristics; prepare tasty, nutritionally rich meals and deliver to rooms according to the schedule; plan menus; clean cooking areas and dishes; prepare and deliver snacks; keep a running inventory of food; and provide lists of needed supplies.
The kitchen attendant will need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience serving food in a business capacity, and be willing to become SERVSAFE certified.
